PROHIBITED USE OF GENERATIVE AI

AJRI strictly prohibits the use of Generative AI for:

  • Plagiarism or undisclosed AI-generated manuscripts.
  • Preparing fraudulent ethical approval statements.
  • Attempting to manipulate the peer-review process.

Any suspected misuse of AI technologies may be investigated according to AJRI publication ethics and may result in rejection, correction, retraction, or other editorial actions.

DISCLOSURE OF AI USE

Authors who use Generative AI during manuscript preparation must disclose its use within the manuscript. The disclosure should include the AI system used, its purpose, and confirmation that all generated content has been reviewed and verified by the authors.

Editors and reviewers may use AI-assisted technologies only for limited administrative or language-support purposes. They must not upload confidential manuscripts, unpublished data, source code, supplementary files, or reviewer comments into publicly accessible AI systems without authorization.

Editorial decisions and peer-review recommendations must always remain the result of independent human judgment, scientific expertise, and professional responsibility.

POLICY COMPLIANCE

AJRI reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this policy at any stage of the publication process. Confirmed violations may result in manuscript rejection, publication correction, article retraction, or notification to the authors' affiliated institutions where appropriate.
