Abstrak

During the rainy season, precipitation persists for approximately half a year, leading to prolonged rainfall and an escalation in water levels, consequently contributing to flooding. The local community lacks direct access to timely weather information during rainfall. To proactively address these challenges, the development of the Water Level and Rainfall Detection System Prototype, functioning as a flood warning system through the Blynk IoT application, is deemed effective. The system is created employing tools like design methodology, flowcharts, system analysis (SDLC), and undergoes testing using the black-box testing approach. It operates by detecting the distance between the sensor and the water surface. If the sensor indicates proximity to the water level, the system triggers a flood alert, subsequently interfacing with the Blynk software. This triggers a message display on the mobile device, and the system can incorporate all distance data into the program.
