Author Guidelines
Article Framework:
Title
The title should be concise and informative, describing the research results and variables, as well as the relationship between these variables, which should be apparent in the title. The article title should be no more than 15 words.
Abstract
The abstract is written in Indonesian and should include the objectives, methods, findings, limitations/implications (if any), and the originality/significance of the research. The abstract should be written in Times New Roman, heading 10, with single spacing. The maximum word count for the abstract is 250 words. Keywords should be italicized and a maximum of 5 keywords should be provided. The Indonesian abstract must include the objectives, methods, findings, limitations/implications (if any), and the originality/significance of the research (eye-catching). Below the abstract paragraph, list up to 5 keywords. The keywords should be specific and commonly used in the article. Keywords will be used for indexing purposes.
-
Introduction
This section includes the background, research rationale, problem formulation, statement of objectives, and the organization of the writing. This section should not use sub-headings. -
Theoretical Framework
The theoretical framework title can use the name of the theory or method that will be applied. This section should discuss the theoretical framework that will be used as the foundation for the methodology to produce findings. -
Research Methodology
This section outlines the steps taken in conducting the research, presented in a comprehensive yet concise manner. If data collection is involved, it should be explained from the sampling method to the analysis technique. -
Results and Discussion
The results and discussion should be expressed clearly and concisely, presenting the scientific framework obtained, rather than just a series of data tables or images. -
Conclusion
The conclusion should address the research objectives, written in three paragraphs:-
The first paragraph should explain how your work advances the field from the current state of knowledge. Without a clear conclusion, reviewers and readers will struggle to assess the work and determine whether it is suitable for publication. Do not repeat the abstract or simply list experimental results.
-
The second paragraph should provide a clear scientific justification for your work, highlighting possible applications and extensions, as well as the limitations of your research, which may lead to further studies by other researchers.
-
The third paragraph should suggest future experiments and/or highlight ongoing research.
-
Acknowledgements
If necessary, acknowledgements can be included to show appreciation for the contributions of individuals or institutions who are not listed as authors. For example, funding sources related to the publication.
References
The article must be at least 6 pages long. Every article published in ADIMAS Journal must follow the guidelines provided here, which refer to the standards used by Elsevier journals (www.sciencedirect.com). The journal writing template can be downloaded here.
Cite the main scientific publications that form the basis of your work. Only cite items that you have read, with a publication date no more than 5 years old. Avoid overloading the manuscript with excessive references. Limit self-citations to a maximum of 8, and avoid excessive citations from the same area. Authors are encouraged to cite journals that have already been published in the ABDI Journal. Check every reference against the original source (author names, volume, issue, year, DOI number). Please use Reference Manager software such as EndNote, Mendeley, or Zotero. Use articles from the same journal as models. All publications cited in the text should be included in the reference list. References are numbered in the order they appear in the text and indicated in parentheses. Please ensure that each reference cited in the text is also listed in the reference list (and vice versa). Every reference cited in the abstract should be fully provided. Unpublished results and personal communications are not recommended in the reference list but may be mentioned in the text. If these references are included in the reference list, they should follow the journal's standard reference style and substitute the publication date with "unpublished results" or "personal communication."
